Mirrodin Besieged Update

So a lot of you emailed me this weekend telling me the games you are playing. I find it interesting. There are really two types of gamers. Gamers who play ANYTHING, and gamers who play THEIR game. Their one and ONLY GAME. (Which is usually D&D, but not always, sometimes it's Magic, sometimes it's Warhammer, etc). I'm one of those people who USED to play only one game (D&D) but as I've gotten older I will play anything. I don't always have the time to play everything, but I will give it all a try. We might be starting a new Rogue Trader campaign in the store soon (a new GM has just moved in from out of town and is eager to start the campaign with us, so we are all delighted not to have to GM anymore). I've never played Rogue Trader, but it sounds like a blast, and hey, I love Dark Heresy and it's all based in the Warhammer 40k world anyway, so I think it's going to be fun.

Dark Eldar Painting Difficulties

I'm serious when I say this, but the one thing that is deterring me from painting the Dark Eldar is that they are HARD. Too hard. Take the Reaver Jet Bikes for instance. They are black with light blue/green outlines. Right? How hard is that? It is RIDICULOUSLY hard. Painting those straight lines is a total problem. They are driving me nuts. I'm thinking of abandoning the whole army because of it. I'm experimenting with different paint schemes and thoughts to see if I can make those straight lines straight. Any help out there would be appreciated:

These things are NOT easy to paint. Here's the thing. The lines along the edges have to be painted perfectly straight. We've chosen Regal Blue as the base, then Hawk Turquoise, followed by an Ice Blue highlight. Getting the lines straight is vital, and yet, you can't use tape because 90% of the lines are curved. Makes for some difficult painting. Anywhere, here is the progress we have so far. If you have any ideas on how to paint these, let me know. BTW, we are still preselling them for the big releases in November.
